Minutes of the meeting held at the Star Inn on Monday
5th July 2010

The minutes of the Meeting held on the 12th April were Approved as circulated.
Chris Goodchild said that although the number at the
luncheon held on May 28th were down due to a recent lunch held by the
Society of St.George, the food at the Star was excellent and the event much
enjoyed.
The proposal to have a Garden Party this year has been
cancelled due to an arranged visit to Sandhurst Royal Military Academy in
October.
Standard Bearer. A
proposal to purchase a new Standard for approx. £415 was approved. The money
being available from a donation received from the Highfield Trust
Saleable items are required for the Boot Sale to be held on August Bank Holiday Monday on the Recreation Ground to either Ron Levett or Bob Peedle. Help with the sales would be appreciated.
Bob will attend the Dieppe Raid Commemoration at Newhaven
on the 15th August and the Battle of Britain on the 19th
September at Seaford. Branch members are invited to support.
An application for Bob to carry the Standard at the Albert Hall in November has been made.

Tunes of Glory will be at Ardingly on 15th
September
Replacements are required for both Secretary and Poppy
